Riverside Folk Festival

Otherwise known as the Upton Folk Festival, this annual bash in Upton-upon-Severn is packed with folk music, chorus groups and ceilidh bands, and Morris teams from all over the country perform in the streets.

There's a big dance on Saturday, a parade on the Sunday, dancing on the riverside (and some years, around the maypole) and afternoon ceilidhs under the bridge, as well as a weekend street market and sing-songs in Upton's many pubs. It finishes with a marquee concert on the Monday.

Please note: the event has been sold out for the last five years, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
