A well-established annual spring event which takes place in Swaledale, Wensleydale and Arkengarthdale, the Swaledale Festival presents classical music, folk, jazz, brass, theatre, village concerts, workshops, exhibitions and traditional craft displays.

Set in the beautiful landscape of North Yorkshire in three of the valleys that lead down from the Pennines - the "backbone of England" - the festival boasts choral and vocal music of all kinds, with guest choirs and soloists from all over Britain and around the world.
