Barceló The Lygon Arms, Cotswolds

Overview

The Lygon Arms has also been a favourite place for conferences and celebrations since Charles 1st met his Cavalier supporters here in the 17th Century and the peace of a classic Cotswold village in traditional English countryside provides a perfect setting for conferences, incentives, private celebrations and weddings.

Our meeting rooms have the latest presentation, communication and IT facilities, we also have private dining rooms which are perfect for both business and pleasure. The Lygon has 7 recently refurbished meeting rooms catering for a maximum of 100 guests. The Lygon and Cromwell Rooms are particularly suited to small private dinners and the Great Hall may also be hired for special occasions, offering a truly spectacular setting.

The Lygon is famous for its superb hospitality and modern-day luxury, while maintaining the traditional style and service for which it has always been known. Once here, you will find that the history in which the Lygon Arms is steeped will draw you in. After all, you will be walking in the footsteps of Oliver Cromwell and his generals. You can eat, drink, meet and sleep in the rooms where King Charles I restored his energy and reviewed his battle plans with local supporters.

Wherever you are - the Lounge, Gin Corner, the Tapestry Room, Library or Drawing Room - it requires only a gentle leap of the imagination to picture conspiratorial meetings of Cavaliers or huntsmen returning from a day in the saddle.
Ideally located to the major motorway network, The Lygon Arms is just 45 minutes from Birmingham International Airport and an hour and 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport . An hourly train service also runs direct from Paddington to Evesham, a mere 10 minutes away.
